Visitors can choose from three types of tours: General, Dragoon, and Frontier Life. Each tour lasts three hours and includes interactive activities to enhance learning and bring each aspect of the museum to life. Groups and schools can arrange private tours for up to twelve participants.

Experience the Fort Museum and Frontier Village, a replica town that offers an insider look at 19th Century life during the founding of Fort Dodge. Located a ten-minute drive from the hotel, the Fort Museum houses thousands of historical and military artifacts, including Native American and pioneer items, while the Frontier Village and its 18 original and replica buildings allow for a first-hand look at 1850s Fort Dodge. Take a guided tour of the village to learn about the city's legendary history and founding as a military lookout or walk around to see log cabins, schools, and jails of the time up close.
